A Delbarton woman was arrested over the weekend for allegedly endangering the lives of three small children, police said.

According to the criminal complaint, on Dec. 28 Sarah Hinkle, 27, was walking on Rt. 65 in the Red Jacket area in the company of three small children, ages 8, 9, and 10, who were also walking in the road with her.

Police said Hinkle was placed under arrest after the officers detected “a strong odor of alcohol [coming] from the defendant.”

She was arraigned by Magistrate Donald Sansom and formally charged with three counts of child neglect creating a risk of injury.

Cameron Smith, 30, of Phelps, Kentucky, domestic assault (four counts), malicious wounding, obstructing an officer (two counts), and brandishing a deadly weapon (four counts).

Carol Smith, 65, of Phelps, Kentucky, obstructing an officer (two counts).

Ashley Nicole Yates, 33, of Varney, obstructing and public intoxication (second offense).

Brandon Lee Dillon, 30, of Williamson, possession of a controlled substance (four counts) and prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Russell Eugene Collins, 57, of Edgarton, domestic battery (first offense).

Rhonda Lynn Collins, 47, of Delbarton, domestic battery (first offense).

Ronald Stanley, 44, of Verner, DUI, no insurance, no registration, possession of a controlled substance, possession of precursor materials for methamphetamine, DUS (misc.).

Marquita Fleming (Gannon), 31, of Dingess, no operator’s license, driving revoked, DUI, and possession of methamphetamine.

Ashley Nicole Davis, 33, of Delbarton, domestic battery.

Shawn Michael Baisden, 26, of Delbarton, trespassing (asked to leave) and assault.

Dorse Bentley, 43, of Edgarton, domestic assault and domestic battery.

Terry Lee Baisden, 52, of Delbarton, possession of a controlled substance and domestic assault.

William Chafin, 46, of Williamson, domestic battery (two counts).

Logan Slater, 24, of Chattaroy, no seatbelt, no operator’s license, DUS, and no insurance.
