The Miners fell at home 67-40 to Westside.

Mingo Central kept the rebounding margin in check, actually coming up with 18 team rebounds, two more than their opponents from Westside.  The Miners’ Isaac Moore was a man on a mission, pulling down 11 of the teams’ 18 boards.

Mingo Central’s Jacob May led the team in scoring with 10 points.

For Westside, guard Hunter Walters led the way with 17 points. Walters also finished the game with five assists. The combination of efficient three-point shooting and ball movement was the two dominating factors that would ultimately propel Westside past the Miners of Mingo Central.
