Although COVID-19 canceled the second event in 2020, with a few safety protocol measures in place, Mingo Central High School’s 2021 graduates got to revisit their former PK-8 and elementary schools on Wednesday, April 28 during this year’s “Senior Walk.” While donning their ceremonial graduation caps and gowns, these MCHS seniors revisited their former school — Williamson PK-8 — and were enthusiastically greeted by both faculty and students.  MCHS Senior School Counselor Andrea Gilman said the purpose for having the school’s graduates return to their former schools is both to demonstrate to the younger students the importance of remaining in school as well as to express their appreciation to those former teachers who helped them reach this point in their education.
