Gilliam recognized for achieving Eagle Scout honor

Six months after achieving the Boy Scouts' highest honor, Eagle Scout, South Williamson resident Max Gilliam was finally recognized for his accomplishment during a Court of Honor ceremony held Tuesday evening at the First Presbyterian Church in Williamson. Max's father and Scoutmaster, Matthew, said the ceremony had to be delayed due to the social gathering restrictions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
