King’s Korner opens on Pike Street
A new Williamson business, King’s Korner Restaurant, had its ribbon cutting and official grand opening on Tuesday, Jan. 5. Although in a new location at 108 Pike Street, the popular restaurant was originally on Second Avenue and had several owners throughout the years. New owner Nicole Runyon Stanley, whose parents owned and operated the business in the mid-1980s and early 1990s, said the restaurant is beginning by serving a variety of lunch menu items only, but tentatively will be adding breakfast to the menu later this year.
